THE LAST GUARDIANS
THE LAST GUARDIANS

The order came like a shockwave —
Remove stray animals from public spaces.
A decision on paper… a death sentence on the streets.
But something rose louder than fear.
People gathered — students, elders, rescuers, families, feeders — not activists, just citizens who refuse to let compassion be treated like an inconvenience.
This artwork is their story.
A woman stands with a mythical guardian — the Astra-Shva, born from centuries of coexistence between humans and animals. A symbol of what we’re fighting for: dignity, safety, and the right of every living being to exist.
Because here’s the truth:
If justice excludes the voiceless, it isn’t justice.
If a nation forgets compassion, it forgets itself.
This protest isn’t chaos —
it’s conscience.
It’s a reminder that humanity doesn’t shrink under pressure…
it rises.
We are not fighting the animals’ battle.
We are fighting our own —
for who we become as a society.
We are the last guardians.
And we are not backing down.
