For a long time, I thought healing meant becoming a different person.

Stronger. Less emotional. Unaffected by what had happened. But healing asked something entirely different. It asked me to stop abandoning myself.

This heart isn't cracked because it's weak. It's alive because life found a way to flow through it again.

Every gold branch represents a moment I chose compassion over criticism. Rest over survival. Truth over pretending.

Healing isn't about becoming someone new.
It's about remembering who you were before fear taught you to forget.
