Intervention I: First Breach

This piece marks the beginning of a shift—the moment where silence is no longer sustainable.

It is rooted in personal experience, shaped by witnessing pain and helplessness at a young age, while also navigating my own journey of survival and healing. Some experiences don’t leave you; they stay quietly, influencing how you see the world.

Over time, I realized that what remains unspoken does not disappear—it simply waits.

The black in this work represents that space: what is held in, ignored, or unseen.
The gold enters as a force—not decorative, but decisive. It cuts through, marking the moment where something begins to change.

This is not about chaos. It is about interruption.
A point where endurance turns into awareness, and awareness into action.

While deeply personal, the work is intentionally open—allowing the viewer to see their own experiences within it. Moments where they felt stuck, unheard, or on the edge of change.

This piece is part of an ongoing exploration of silence, intervention, and the unseen—both within ourselves and in the world around us.
